Has anyone ever Participated in The Genographic Project?
- Jun. 13th, 2009 at 8:07 PM
Lately, I've been thinking about where I come from, and I've been thinking about getting one of those Genographic Project Kits from National Geographic. Has anyone participated in this? Are the kits hard to use?

The kits are very easy to use. Just a swab of saliva from your cheek, mail it in, and in about a month, you will have your results. Additionally, there's a link on your Genographic page that allows you to upload your results (at no additional charge) to Family Tree DNA which will give you even more information and allow you to contact anyone who matches you. It also provides you to upgrade your existing kit to a variety of advanced tests. I have tested several relatives through the Genographic Project and have been very pleased with the results every time.
Kind regards,
Katherine
